Our Experience With Nellie’s Fresh Pet Bundle

When I saw this pet grooming and cleaning bundle from Nellie’s, I knew it would be perfect for my Chihuahua, Papyrus.

Not only does he loathe baths, but he is sixteen and has quite a few accidents. I figured having waterless shampoo on hand would be the perfect way to freshen him up without subjecting him to frequent bathing. Meanwhile, I was hopeful that the stain remover could help save my poor carpets.

As soon as the package arrived, I put these products to the test.

I used the Fresh Dog spray first. Papyrus didn’t exactly enjoy being sprayed down, but it was much less stressful for him than a bath. Once he was wet, I worked the spray in with my fingers, then used the DBL DRY Dog Towel to wipe him down.

Once he dried fully, his fur was noticeably softer and he smelled like he’d just returned from a tropical beach vacation. The smell only lasted about a day, but even after it faded, he didn’t stink like he had before I applied it.

Next, I tested out the carpet cleaner. Over the last ten days, Papyrus gave me plenty of opportunities to put it to use.

It did a great job removing fresh urine spots from the carpet, effectively preventing staining and completely removing the smell of pee. I also tested it on some old vomit stains left behind by my other carpet cleaner. Amazingly, it completely removed these.

I also found that this spray works wonders on my couch. My dogs have done a great job stinking up the attached cushions. But just a few treatments with this spray and it already smells a million times better.

All I have to do is spritz the cushions and let them air dry. The enzymes go to work destroying the odors while the essential oils leave behind a pleasant scent.

As I mentioned above, the DBL DRY Dog Towel worked very well to rub my pup down after using the Fresh Dog spray. I also had the opportunity to use the towel on my bigger dog after her bath. It worked very well to absorb the water and got her dry quicker than our normal bath towels.
