PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, is a donor-funded division of the Philadelphia Animal Care and Control Association (PACCA) dedicated to saving the lives of Philadelphia’s animals. PACCA is a 501(c)3 organization contracted to provide animal care and control services for the City of Philadelphia. Taking in approximately 30,000 homeless, abandoned and unwanted animals each year, PAWS is dedicated to making Philadelphia a city in which every healthy and treatable animal is guaranteed a home.
