	She will slip out the door if we're not super careful and run behind neighbor's back yards and go in the woods -running like a crazy dog. She is 16 mos. Is there any hope of her ever being able to go off leash or will she always sprint whenever she can?

	The only way to stop her from running through open doors is by teaching her not to. You need to train a really solid stay or wait command and practice this daily before going through doors etc. If she breaks her sit/wait, simply ask her to wait again and repeat the opening of the door/s ever so slightly. You repeat as many times as necessary but consistency is the key. While initially training i'd keep her on a long line attached to something or held by a family member or friend just to be sure she doesn't actually escape. At the same time you could start teaching her the recall command too. Using a long line again in the early stages is recommended and you need to practice all the time. Always keep training really fun and have some tasty treats on offer as a reward so she has incentive to return to you every time.
