I bought wellness for our dog zoey. Since they recomend it would help with her allergies. Well, I mixed the wellness with her old dog food. She was ok the first day.
The next day, we woke up with diraha all over the house. And it was red,and smelt like pure blood.
Not Like Poop,blood.

What Should I Do?

Please don't wait until your dog is acting sick, as it might be too late at that point-blood should be enough to worry about.

Go to the vet!

If it smelt like blood, then chances are there is blood in it. I would at least call your vet. Some dogs do get stomach trouble when they switch foods, but there shouldn't be any blood.

some dogs can't digest it well, but that should only lead to soft poops, maybe diarrhea, not bloody stool. Even if there was a red tinge, I would bring her to the vet. She is just a little girl and if she is losing blood into her digestive system, she really should be seen by a vet right away.

What were you feeding her before you switched and what kind of wellness did you switch to?

What is she allergic to?
