We have updated the raw feeding spreadsheet!

This one gives you a detailed breakdown of the amounts of raw food per day/week (in ounces and lbs) you pup needs by weight.

Also, it will provide you with the nutrient profiles your pup needs on a daily basis.

The second page gives gives you typical raw foods and their nutritional value. You can customize this page for your own dog using the USDA Nutrition Calculator or nutritiondata.com.

This spreadsheet will help you design a raw diet, that meets your pups nutritional needs.

Again, many thanks to Mokie, Mattie, Moxie, Izzie and Fudge!!!! cheercheercheer

I forgot to add that there are two numbers you need to plug in. 1) Your dog's weight (at the top) and 2) the activity level (light purple box). You get this number from the choices in BOX 1.

If you have any questions, just ask. puppy

VERY nice! Wow, you guys must have put a lot of work into that! What a wonderful raw resource.

Do you mind if I post the link in the mal group I`m in? There are quite a few raw feeders, who I think would find it helpful.

B&TC,

We don't have it at home either, so I haven't checked it out yet.

Luckily, I have it at work, so I can see it tomorrow!

I see that the spreadsheet gives you the amount of bone for a day/week.

How do you figure out which piece of RMB is correct?

Example.. Gunner is supposed to get 0.29ounces of bone a day/2.02ounces a week. Does this have to be exact?

He usually gets different parts of chicken for his RMB, and I figure that would be enough for bone/calcium.. He gets parts such as chicken legs, thighs, wings and (occasionally) backs 2-3 times a week. Is that enough?

Hi Gunner,

It's not really an exact science, and definitely varies by the dog. Some people need to feed more than the recommended 10% or their dogs have splarting issues.

Personally, I probably feed bone every third meal, with the rest being meaty meals or meaty meat and organs.

If you don't have Microsoft Excel, you can download EXCEL VIEWER

This will allow you to open the spreadsheet.
