It is common for Vizslas to point at cats, rodents, birds etc. to take your Vizsla off point you should carefully pick her up in your arms (he/she will probably stay on point in your arms), when she is pointing you should speak slowly and calmly to her, stroke her back and say "good girl". Alma 982200     Barked: Mon Apr 20, '09 6:34am PST  Hi there, I'm a Vizsla owner (I have 3 shorhairs and 1 wirehaired) and I also help rehome Vizslas here in Hungary, I also help out with organization of a bi-monthly Vizsla meeting that sometimes has 150 Vizslas walking!
