| Barked: Sun May 19, '13 2:28pm PST | | | | | My phone is playing up as is our modem/router. When the BF gets home this afternoon he can have a look at my phone for me.
Really not my day/night at work. Had an issue with a blocked pipe on a smoothie/frappe machine and I ended up wearing part of the blockage (I was at the lower end of the pipe with a bottle brush). Because I'm allergic to milk I find milk stinks in general so wearing rotten fruit/yoghurt/soapy water on my jumper and pants did not sit well with me. I did fix the machine in the end but I had to wait two hours to go home - clothes are now in the machine along with a dose of laundry sanitizer that we used when Mitch's mum had gangrene. Good hospital grade stuff!
The Boys - we have crested doves that do that! They go zooming straight past the front door as you open it, crests down and "Grooing" they only "coo" when happy or sun bathing.
Flicka - One less copper head wont hurt your environs or the Boys. Flicka probably would chase off any furry "Uninviteds" the copper head may have eaten anyways?
For those in need of a laugh: We had a fellow try and use our drive thru on saturday night riding a petrol powered Eski cooler. Pull cord motor like a lawn mower, go cart tyres and handle bars that looked like something off a kids scooter. Alas the boys in blue where waiting for him at the last window along with his food. He blew 1.17 back at the station. Legal limit to drive (for memory) is 1.04.

Got my electricity bill and two months worth of phone bills in one day. The phone bill company had a stuff up last month hence the double whammy. I have a while until that one is due though so all good. Budgets are done up for the next few weeks
Windy, with a top of 21C expected. We shall see! Nice and sunny though so I have my washing out in the sun as well as my plants. Boyfriend finaly admitted it was time to put his swimmers away till next summer. They are still sitting on the bed though.
M&k on the migraine front. I'm working with a lady who is starting to figure out what her triggers are. She can't drink coffee but can down one of those "double shot" energy drinks without an issue?!

Choosing the Right Dog > So, convince me. Why should I not get a Border Collie ;)

| Barked: Wed May 15, '13 3:42am PST | | | | | Always be prepared for surprises. Dunlop will be six the end of this year and has recently started to herd. Head down, crouched, EYE type herding. Problem was the "sheep" was a little black toy poodle. Why he chose to herd it I have no idea, though it was running loose, almost a block down from it's handler. He's worked and played along side with all sorts of poodles
He has issues with other dogs and with some people. I didn't know of anyone with darker skin that I could introduce him to as a pup. And Shepherds - once bitten twice shy. Finding activities that we can both do is a challenge as I work full time, an hour away from where he is (with my parents, I can't have pets where I am atm)Though, One of the best ways to tire him out is to change where we walk. I can't run so we walk. Watching him figure out that the thin plank of wood was the only way to get across the puddles in the bush was hilarious. He also bought Mum a baby, fledgling pigeon on Mothers Day. She wan't all that impressed. And it's not the first time. (Birdy is fine, a wildlife carer took it in, slobber and all)
Next time I will either go rescue or a proper breeder though. Tired of finding lumps and bumps and skin issues

| Barked: Tue May 14, '13 2:31pm PST | | | | | I may be looking at adding a free standing heater this year - not even winter and it's FOUR degrees centigrade. And thats indoors. I have the B/F's work clothes and a jacket and scarf in front of the wall mounted aircon unit. It rained all day yesterday so that kinda explains the sudden chill factor but its still not real comfortable. Starting to wonder if it's too cold indoors for my window pots to even start to sprout. Mum already had daffodils and jonquils on their way up. Mine haven't even moved! (glass vase with gravel, soil and slow release fertiliser)
Ran a person short at work last night but we almost hit target time challenge wise which was good.
The sun has risen high enough now to hit the house. All my sun catchers are coming to life

The fellow who owns the store I work at is opening a third store in the region. We have two of the managers from the new store coming to train with us over the next few weeks. I can't wait to see how they handle some of the "characters" that we get on night shift

And I no longer have a 'key' for it anyway. I had some stuff saved to a few USB thumb drives but all my wedding quotes are gone bar the catering ones saved to hotmail.
Was not a good day! Eyes are ticking/twitching maddly.

When I ordered my print on the 5/5 they told me six to eight weeks delivery. Got it today as well as Dads Border Collie jumper for his birthday. The jumper looks way to big though.
date night out with a few other couples last night. The person next to me ordered EEL. I just about sat in Mitchell's lap to get away from it. Won't be going back there though, you had to catch a waiter to get a drink. Catch as in stand up and grab one on the way past.

I am glad to be home. When your working day starts with a box of little cardboard boxes falling on you (not made up, still flat mind) you KNOW your not going to have a good one. One of the girls at work has a bub with suspected meningitis. Poor thing had a feval (sp?) convulsion last night after his dad administered baby aspirin. Neither of them drive so I offered to take them to the bigger hospital near mum and dads if they need it. No word yet though.
M&K did your daughter end up getting a straight answer as to the "growing pains"??
two days off and so much to do!

| Barked: Mon May 6, '13 2:44am PST | | | | | Looking at houses online, have been for a while as I don't know the area all that well. I think theres a typo in the add for one place price wise but I'm calling the agent in the morning to find out. I think it's missing a couple of zero's off it put it that way. Alarm set on my phone to make sure I call them in the morning. | | | | |
