Hayden is currently trying to hide for the fireworks, she hates them. Hayden Nothing says Lub- like a Bootie- Rub!     Barked: Thu May 2, '13 5:59am PST  Sarge mom, Tigger is doing better but it turned out to not be pancreatitis but an upper respiratory infection that then spread to Magic and Sweetie. The vet seems to think that Scout may be a carrier even though he hadn't had any symptoms. There was worry because Sweetie is diabetic but so far he's only gotten blisters on his nose. Magic had the same symptoms as Tigger but ended up dehydrated and had mouth sores. They're all doing better now, which is good! Hayden Nothing says Lub- like a Bootie- Rub!     Barked: Sat Apr 20, '13 2:54pm PST  Tigger wants to the k you all for sending the POP his way, it seems he's feeling a bit better today and has started eating again! Vet is thinking pancreatitis, hopefully he is on the mend. Brought home a new addition to our home today, a smoke tabby girl as a buddy for Scout. Still deciding on a name, she's a bit skittish as she was a feral cat until a few months ago. She's about 8 months old. Will set up a profile for her as soon as I can get a good photo of her. Hayden Nothing says Lub- like a Bootie- Rub!     Barked: Wed Apr 10, '13 12:39pm PST  Just popping in to see if there's any news about Clark, been thinking about him today. Had a long weekend, Hayden started up with an allergic reaction last Thursday with swollen lips and hives on her belly, then on Friday night she started throwing up repeatedly... ended up at the emergency vet at 4:30am on Saturday and then back to our vet at 11am, finally a shot got her to stop vomitting but it started come out the other end! Then on Sunday night the hives came back and were even worse in the morning, so we took another trip to our vet. There was worry that she'd become dehydrated and would have to be put on an IV but some pumpkin, pedialyte and blank perscription dog food seems to have taken care of it, and some steroids and benedryl have taken away the hives. Long, sleepless few days but I think she's on the mend.
