I never had a GSD until Bismarck but once he was here I was completely hooked. There are a lot of breeds I'd consider owning but I would always have at least one GSD in the house. Spencer - *2002 - 2012* It's ALL about- me!!!!!     Barked: Fri Jun 15, '07 11:25am PST  Hi all! It's been such a long time since we've been on here! It was 2 months ago today that we got flooded and unfortunately nothing much is happening with our house except mom is fighting with the insurance company, but that's another story. I feel like I've missed so much since I've been gone and I've missed all of you! Spencer - *2002 - 2012* It's ALL about- me!!!!!     Barked: Sun May 6, '07 7:49pm PST  I decided to go visit Spencer today since he's still at my dog sitter's house because my house is still a wreck from the flood. I get there and had my private time with him in the living room. We decided to go outside to see the 3 other dogs. Everything was going well and then all of a sudden one of the dog's attacked him! We had a really hard time pulling her off of him since she had him pinned to the ground and wouldn't let go. This has never happened before and everything fogged up in an instant. Once we got them separated I checked him out and noticed his foot was bleeding pretty badly. I decided to take him to the emergency vet and when I got outside and put him in the car there was a note taped to my window from one of their neighbor's relatives telling me that he hit my car! He left his name, address, etc and when I looked the side of my car was smashed. I had to call the cops to file a police report before I could leave with Spencer to the vet. Once that was done I got to the vet. As I was sitting waiting for the vet to come in I called my friend and she told me that she had to rush her husband to the hospital and he was undergoing emergency surgery as we spoke. Hopefully everything will be ok with him. After waiting for an hour and a half, the vet came in. They took him in the back and had to shave his foot to clean and check the bites. He ended up with 2 punctures and a tear and a big blue bandage on his foot and I got a $403.00 vet bill. I have to follow up with my vet this week since he's on meds for the next 10 days.
