Sadie Lee Living Life in- honor of my- Sammy J     Barked: Mon Sep 29, '08 5:19pm PST  ...but with as many pals as we have lost lately at such young ages, mommy is a little paranoid. I'm about 2 months away from being 7 years old, and up until last year, hav never had many health issues. Twice in the past year I have had tummy issues(the last being less than a month ago) where I puke and have horrible diarrhea endlessly and without control. It starts looking like blood(and of course mommy freaks even more). Mommy and daddy took me to the vet as soon as I started showing symptoms and Dr Hart put me on Reglan and Flagyl. Dr Hart knows me and knows how upset I get when anything out of my regular schedule happens(the first sickness was after mommy and daddy came back from vacation, the second after their big labor day party). After I was done with the meds I was fine. Now I have had really bad gas(which I have never had before) and my tummy is really bloated. It's not bloat, as mommy has seen the signs before(in her shelter dogs) and I am not presenting any of them. I am still eating and drinking normally, and besides the gas and tummy roundness I am my same old bouncy self. Anypup have anything like this happen to them? Mommy tends to be a worrier and she doesn't want to jump the gun(yet again) on taking me in to the vet(especially since going there upsets my tummy so much as it is). Mommy is also worried that it just may be my age and the fact that my tummy can't take the same kind of food anymore. Mommy also wants me to note(and believe me this makes me upset) that I have been getting No outside treats or scraps(*grumble grumble*). Any advice would be appreciated.
