I was walking her last week when the neighbors came out to say hi.
The grandma had an umbrella in her hand and leaned forward to pet elsie and elsie growled and pulled forward a bit. She didn't snap or bite but it really really caught me by surprise.
When she put the umbrella down elsie allowed her to pet her albeit hesitantly.
Would this be considered aggressive? Is it something we can address?

Last night it happened for the first time ever. Out of nowhere as we are running I looked back...don't recall why...but there was a dog running up to us very quickly. Luckily I was able to keep Elsie's face away from the dog (elsie is not a fan of growling dogs...she has the tendency to wanna scrap) so it of course starts trying to nip at her behind! So I have one dog who is starting a fight and another itching to finish the fight whose mommy (me) wont let them.
The owner was taking her sweet time to stroll on over. I felt bad for doing this but I initially pushed the dog away with my foot and faced it with my arm out and told it very loudly and very sternly to LEAVE NOW.
The dog sort of slinked away after that. I felt bad for yelling at it cause really its the owners fault.
Cant wait to hear ideas on how to deal with this. Maybe I wont be walking the pack anymore. I have no idea what I would have done with my 4.

Is there a such things as to much water? I knwo this happens in humans and want to make sur eI dont overdo it.
They have free water all day and then I also give them an extra bowl at night with a bit of low sodium chiken broth.
