just sitting a minute, have a big duvet cover in the wash and have to get it in the dryer right away or it wrinkles. Tom is at the dermatologist, he has 2 large moles on his back that I think are larger and darker.

Anniemom, what email did you all get and Flickamom got it. I didn't get one from you.

So sorry to hear of Clark and the meds, a balancing act and Linda's fall. It's nice that you keep in touch with her and pass on the news.

Well, am going to Applebees tonight with Empty Leash and will tell them of our friends here who have passed.

Enjoy the day.

now an angel, we just received a note. Sweet boy, safe journey to the beautiful bridge. Bless his heart.

Maiyah, what a wonderful Father's Day your uncle made for your family! I would love all of those things and enjoy the company of your family, too! How nice a day!

Annie, are you on cholestrol meds - I am to take Slimvastin some generic, but haven't been lately as back to gym/running and watching my diet. Seeing if that is helping. We ran and worked out with a trainer at the track at the school the boys were going to before we moved, it was a beautiful night. A great rubber type track, lots of cushioning. They were also doing football practice there.

There is another woman 64, in great shape, she and I are probably the oldest of the gang. I think our metabolism just gets slower as we age, and they changed my thyroid to .75, from .88 as I said, and it checks out that is a better dosage from the recent lab works. - phooey, was hoping to go back to the .88 mg. Olive Garden is so good.

Hope your appt. goes well tomorrow, Flickamom, and do you tell the doctor that you about single handed run your 'farm' way to go and it is alot of work on your body. Hoping that he can help, if even a little, for you. Definately trying the Panera bread when I go next time, sil wrote email she and I will meet up next Tuesday, I think.

I was thinking of DarlaMae and her family so much this weekend - and should get a card in the mail to them soon. And SS Mom and Clark and Sully, really miss them.

Boys, what a sweetheart - love your new baby there and the picture, so sweet kissing you are so wonderful to foster, I always would want to do that if conditions would allow here, not happening anytime soon. Bet you are enjoying your lovely lake and boat this summer

Our other doggy friend of many years, Buttercup, passed last week. She is in the group that we celebrate the lighting of the Candles at Hanukah every year.

love to Crew, Hayden, Scooter, River

Morning to all, hugs to River hughughug

The Paw Park anniversary was a success - weather was great, got there at 8 AM to set up tents, slushie machine, popcorn, and we had charcoal grill hot dogs - they were good - all for sale, really reasonable. Set up some small pools in the dog areas when it heated up a bit. Lots of baskets for the raffle. Got home at 4 - dressed to go and eat at Protocol and then Tom stopped at a wake for an Investigator and his wife, both were taken together in an accident last week, and then to Sheas - by 11:00 ready for a good long sleep! Glad that Olive Garden was nice, Annie, and your Panera bread sounds wonderful, have to check that out. Don't get there often though. Yesterday, I made a chicken stir fry and Courtney and Tom and Rob were there for that - Rob's girl has her dad in Rochester - flies for Mercy Flight, and went to be with him and other relatives. The sun stayed out all day. Our new garden along the front walkway looks good. Some lady brought plants to give away for small donation to the Dog park, I have a basil, which I use alot. What wasen't 'sold' was planted at the park.

Tonight is LC at the track where I went to school at Amherst, they do a bike path run and alternate with other things. So, since I've not been at the gym since Thursday, I'll probably do very little.

Hope all is ok - we are meeting up at Applebees with Empty Leash tomorrow night, last date got postponed. Tom has appt. with the dermatologist tomorrow, a few things need to be looked at. Hope Lab Work was ok Anniemom, and when is your next appt. Flickamom with your doctor?

Got to move along, Tom is golfing - the rain let up yesterday - I'll walk Abby this morning - that's my exercise cheer

morning all, rain and dreary here, with Tom not well, don't know if we will end up going, it goes on all day and tomorrow, but tomorrow is the anniversary party and we will try to get to that. The weather here is strange lately, and Monday is supposedly rain but tomorrow not. No golf Monday, as Friday.

Well, we went 3 pet stores for the Cool Collar for sweet Annie - PetCo usually has them but didn't - you can get on line at several places though, and I really could not believe how Sarge seemed to perk up. During our 'hot spell' when he had it on. The liner inside you can freeze and then there are no drips. I used ice cubes as our liner is worn out. Hope Annie feels better.

Hoping that Clark is better too. We have good thoughts for him and lots of positive feelings. He is on Coumedin, I think was said, can that tire you? I am not on it, Anniemom you asked about the dental - no I just need to pay more attention to my gums. This thyroid dose is a pain and the testing showed it is within range, so guess I'm stuck with dragging along like a old lady.

Did go to the gym as next Sat. is our Anniversary at Paw Park and will be there early with 2 baskets to raffle off. AMazing what is around the house, never used, and fill ins with DOllar Store stuff. Had baskets too, so all was set. They are all volunteer and donations so this is an important fund raiser as we didn't do the Comedy Club like the past, that raised lots of money but it is a hassle and no-one wanted to do it and you have to pay the Club some of the money - I say that we should 'charge' for use, as it is not the Town's dog park and we have many nice improvements and more coming like a dog wash station. For those on FB it is Paw Park - lots of pictures - we even have a kitchen in the building!

Hugs to all and hoping that those are feeling better and Flickamom got errands run and glad you got the donations taken to the right place, too. HOping that LI area does not get those storms again like last year.

Miayah, love the sparkly charm!

Oh I am sorry to hear the news of Clark, that has to be so hard on them all, and hoping that things come normal for him soon. It's been a long haul. hug Clark hug
Our thoughts and love are with you. Do you need help paying your internet - maybe I could lend a small hand?

Annie, I am sorry to hear you had a bad night and a low day, and I remember Remo getting those fluids, which was made him feel so much better. I would say that an expert on Goldens is the Crew, having had many ups and down with them and others. My only suggestion was the B-12 - dissolvable capsule, tiny thing but helps with feeling better according to the wonderful vet whose dad was also a vet. Maybe one of the Cool Collars as we got from the crew for Sarge - it really seemed to help him after he got sick at the park. I just filled with ice cubes, or it has a liner you can freeze and put in the collar that way.

The Longest day today - got to the mamogram place - Windsong, by 7:10 and had paperwork to fill out and new sheets due to Medicare. The tech was a young girl, and either I am more sensitive, I almost passed out from the pain, it was awful. Then I stopped to get a few things at the store on the way home, and had to pick up Minx at noon - plane was a little late and the 'traffic' airport guy kept looking at me and finally came over. There was no-one up on the parking part, so I said I am picking up a JetBlue FA and will be right along - then we went to Aunt Jo's got her car and took to get inspection, left there. Got pizza to take back. Aunt Jo's procedure - cystascope went well considering, and has pills to take for her incontinance, which with her grey matter problems, she cannot move quickly enough to get to the bathroom. Lots of pads, diapers, etc., poor thing. She has a time but keeps a good humor. Left there, home to see the mail and Tom is sick and was cleaning car seats and I told him not to do that breathing in the fumes - he is like his mother, cannot Stop and Relax. (hmmmm someone Here like that big laugh) So I took Sarge who decided he wanted a Marathon Walk in the park today - I was going to drop over, did I mention I stopped at the gym too and spent an hour as tomorrow I won't go if we do go to the Festival. Too much walking. Now, a shower and book and I am fine. Sorry for the ramble.

Maiyah, precious girl so loved and bet you are a beautiful one to watch walking with Daddy or Mom. Jenna picked wisely.

Hugs to all - where are Scooter, Boys, River, Hayden - missing you all - Darla Mae cloud 9 heard there were tornadoes and storms up the East Coast today. Outer Banks where Minx daughter lives had a tornado watch til 1 PM today. Crazy houses all on stilts -

We have to wear helmets here, and seatbelts - they stopped me the other day, out of the gym and I didn't have it as a was so hot and stopping to get gas - was State Police - saw my license and asked if I knew Tom - I said my husband - he said, well, you will be in more trouble with him than me - I don't like the belts - NY has More laws for everything and even big gulp drinks - and then something with not giving the mother's baby formula in the hospitals so they would breast feed - it is getting to be a Nanny state and they are drumming revenue, the talk shows love to talk about it.

Boys, sounds like you are coming along - you can imagine how Riku is not sure what to make of all the new things. You all are lucky as if I feed Abby or Sarge people food - they get the runs Mom Boys - where were you in Buffalo? There is a Buffalo Dogster group, used to be active in it but got away from it.

Anniemom, how was your cardio appt.? What did they say? Did you eat out - I am ready to eat out at the festival on Saturday - good stuff at the booths, or we go and eat on the river or lake after the festival. Love the water. Hope son will have family with him soon.

FLickamom, I know, I started getting all choked up over the damage and just thinking that their lives are leveled to the ground. Then we know that the Kirk family are doing ok now, through alot of help and her family was there - some were spared damage and they stayed with them.

Did you take the supplies to the Red Cross?

How is SSMom - the internet is taking forever to get straightened out - miss hearing from them - and also hughughug to DarlaMae hughughug

Tom has a bad sinus infection, on meds as it is already going to his chest, throat and ears - he gets a bad bout and takes forever. The doctor called something in for him. If he is not up to Allentown, I'll go with my sil or my neighbor.

Fran's wife is going to LV to see her daughter - stopping at Notre Dame to get her son who works there and they will be gone a week.

C & T will go but they usually go with her family and the brother's little boy (3) and her sister, etc. -
- hoping that today is a good day - but is rain here and cold. Minx here tomorrow - Aunt Jo having the cystoscope for kidney cysts early tomorrow - and we will get lunch and take Minx (her Mom's car) to get inspected - it is kept at AJ's for use when Minx comes here.

I have 7:30 Mamo appt. tomorrow - wondering when my Dex Scan is due

Maiyah is surely a joy - precious girl.

Hoping little Riku will come around - it is all so new to him plus there are 3 little ones that he has to learn to know, too. Abby was a "case" here - with Sarge - we called the woman to take her back, it was That Awful. With the cage, we took turns with both of them in it, no matter who was doing what - and eventually it was ok, but very hectic and after an old Lab and quiet, Sarge was not used to a puppy. Thought we were doing a favor not getting an older dog, who might be the Alpha - Sarge has pancreatitus and had a very severe bout after Rocky died, he was so so sick.

So we didn't want to get a dog that would intimidate him, and so he could be Boss - well, Abby is submissive-but too playful for Sarge - so it was a tough one. Maybe the older dog would have been better - we didn't know. Bless you for taking Riki into your hearts big hugkissingbig hug he sure is sweet looking!

Well had the cleaning and she did a good job and put flouride on, I haven't had cavities in a long while, but gum issues and lots of bleeding. I really love her, she is a sweet person and have gone several years.

Went to the gym after - been gone since Saturday - then to grocery and made simple dinner. Tom has a bad cold and is miserable, been a long time since he's been sick but that outdoors at his mother's for 4 hours and then home here and more, I still think he is run down and does too much at one time. Doesn't know moderation -

Hoping that Annie is enjoying the weather, and glad the tornadoes are gone for now - Flickamom, so scary. We had 3 deadly accidents today - pedestrian near where I lived when I was single, an 18 yr. old on motorcycle and now a 2 car crash near Dog Park, one is thought to be dead - Mercy Flight was sent for. Don't know if it is Rob's girlfriend's dad flying today. Everyone is in a hurry - the motor cycle clocked at 100 mph - why was he thinking. We aren't even a busy place, but when there is not a big traffic problem, people take advantage and speed along. Car went to the shop for brakes, and will be done tomorrow, hopefully.

Well, hugs to all, and keep on doing the right thing, that's what I tell myself, if I do the right thing, that's all I can do. No more than that.

morning all, dentist cleaning today. One of our wonderful Hall of Fame football players, Jim Kelly, will have surgery tomorrow for cancer of the upper jaw.

They are doing the surgery at ECMC where Rob had his brain trauma procedure and also his doctor is there from the car hit and run. Jim and his family have done so much for our community. They lost their son, Hunter, to Krabbe's Disease and set a foundation for those who are in need. Jim, as Quarterback of the Buffalo Bills, led them in 4 Super Bowls, very exciting times. Rob went to his Football camp back when he played for his school.
Please hold a positive thought for him and his family, if you will. hughug Jim Kelly and family hughug for tomorrow.

Thanks for the sweet comments on the pictures, we had a good time there.

Anniemom, hoping your son's family will be moving soon and they will be together.

Flickamom, take care of yourself, and all the moving and work outdoors, I know it is alot for you. Tom spent 3 plus hours doing outside stuff at his mother's - 2 houses is too much to keep up.

I had blood work done for a re check on the new dose of Synthroid and anxious to see results from 88 mg (31 years) and now at 75 mg. Been dragging more, don't have the same energy.

The Nutrition clinic was very informative - I made copies of the handouts for Courtney as they focused on those who compete in part of the program, but mostly general good health choices. I see that most of mine are Bad News - but taste so good! The snacks they served were very good - a mixed bean dish in a italian dressing served on little crackers was my favorite. Also water with Basil leaf and strawberries - that was good too.

Maiyah, sounds like you are having a great time with dad and mom, beautiful girl

The year is flying, I don't like it - already June. The 40th anniversary is Sunday and hope it doesn't rain.

missing all and know they are busy cheerwave but stop in, big hug

Boys, how's the camera - it takes beautiful pictures from what you posted
