| Barked: Sun Nov 4, '12 12:45pm PST | | | | | HI, thank you so much! I uploaded her picture on Shebas page, its the last picture, she's a German Shepard. It's her face. Wonder if you could use the image with the bridge behind her. She was so loved. I feel so bad for her owners.
Thank you again. If you click on my avatar, it will take you to Shebas page.

If you can where can I send you a picture, it would mean the world to me.
Thank you | | | | |

Shetland Sheepdog > How do you know it\'s time?

| Barked: Wed Jan 6, '10 4:24pm PST | | | | | I would say the same thing, if she acts lively and her eyes look alive, I would do what the others suggested.
I waited too long to put down my 17 yr old sheltie, but he didn't have that light in his eyes anymore, plus he couldn't eat, or hardly walk.
I will forever regret not helping him over to rainbow bridge, because I couldn't stand the idea of him not being with us anymore. I (we) were selfish. But he was our first sheltie or pet that lived with us that long. He was the main man of the house (aside from hubby, of coursse) and the kiddos.
We all loved him so much!

Shetland Sheepdog > Excessive shedding? What causes this I wonder"
SHEBA- 1994--10/06/- 07
Let's Snuggle! |
| Barked: Wed Jan 6, '10 4:08pm PST | | | | | I have 2 shelties, one is a sable and one is black, from different moms and dads. I have had shelties before, My first main man was Kai, lived to the age of 17, and Sheba which we rescued at the age of 5 exactly 6 months after Kais death.
I truly never remember seeing so much loose fur on Kai, nor Sheba for that matter. They were inside and outside dogs but mostly inside. I don't know whether I was just not really noticing or what. There was fur, but not like these 2 have. All I have to do is pet one of them, and the loose fur flies around. I just bought and used (today) a pet fur vaccuum, which you attach to the end of your vacuum cleaner and you comb your dog with it, so the fur flies into the canister. Its A Bissell.
We really combed them, but truthfully, I think I could do this every day, and there would still be tons of fur.
I don't understand it. You should see the area around the crate where the younger one sleeps.
I just don't remember noticing this much.
Anyone else have this excessive problem?????
Thanks | | | | |
