It will get up to the 90's here this week, too! Mornings aren't too bad. The AC is becoming my best friend! WTG, rideon...keep getting those snakes! SargeMom, Happy Birthday, Tom Yes, the vet was going to give Annie an ultrasound if her anemic numbers didn't come up. He did take an x-ray that didn't show anything. Fortunately, her numbers came back up with her last bloodwork!So far so good! Keeping a journal is a great idea! I used to keep one when my IBS flared up! Hope you like the dresses you ordered. Annie Love my treats,- oh yeah!     Barked: Sat May 18, '13 8:20am PST  Mornin'all, FlickaMom, flowers are popping out everywhere now. The gardenia bush is so heavy with blooms Jim had to stake it. As soon as the brutal heat comes there won't be much left. I guess of all the flowers we have, this is my favorite. Magnolia I have a bag packed and all supplies in a cabinet but not for fire, for hurricaines! Hope you enjoy brunch out! Boys, even us that don't work anymore, we still need a day off! Fortunately, I haven't had that "time of month" for some years now and couldn't be happier! Hope today is better. Maiyah, so happy everything worked out OK for you, sweet girl! SargeMom, you have been a busy beaver over there! So nice of you to help out at Paw Park. Enjoy the dinner tonight for Tom's B'day and hope he enjoys all his gifts. I was really worried about Annie yesterday. As you know she just had the anemic thing last week and now throwing up the grass and being lethargic and not being herself. I debated taking her to the vet again ...yes...no ....yes....no and couldn't decide what to do. I went to do a couple of errands and when I came back she ran outside to greet me wagging her tail like nothing had happened. She pooped (normal, I was on poop watch) ate her food and drank water. I'm beginning to think maybe she just had a tummy ache and after it passed all was well. FlickaMom, so glad your daylilies are coming out. We have several that have opened up so far. We have 3 daylily gardens and they are so beautiful when all in bloom. Too bad the blooms don't last long. What a beautiful Orchard Oriel! Glad to hear S&SMom & Clark are doing better! Send our love! River, Annie ate grass yesterday and threw it up this morning. It was only grass & mucus. I saw her licking herself yesterday so think it's only some hair upset her tummy. I'm keeping a close eye on her. Is this normal or just temporary? Hope Loki had a nice birthday....I did see on FB that he looked like he was! SargeMom, the grass is growing so fast now! Annie goes on short walks in the heat. It's not good for her or me! We are both panting! We usually eat lunch around 12:30 and dinner around 6:30. Very casual, on the coffee table and sometimes we eat at different times if we're not hungry at the same time. Fend for yourself. BOL Don't cook much anymore so usually something simple. That would be great if Rob could buy the house next door! FlickaMom, good news about the potato vine! Great name - Dash! I don't think I could mow your yard with anything other than a rideon! I used to mow ours with a self propelled and that was tough and don't have near the property you have. Maiyah, always so nice to see your beautiful face! Well son has made it another day and over hump day so all is well! Thinking of S&SMom and always remember them in my prayers! Next time you talk to her, please send my love & hugs! Boys, cute little Titmouse! We seem to have an abundance of cardinals this year and they are super red and beautiful! Jim & I have been laughing about the mockingbird that has parked himself in one of our trees and is singing....very loudly! We are hoping he finds a mate soon! One of my sons has just moved to Portland, Oregon and we live in Houston. It's even a long plane ride about 4 1/2 hrs. His wife & the grand-daughters will be going there after school ends. Mostly, we text & e-mail and hardly ever talk on the phone anymore. I think it's a new generation kinda thing. Just have to go with the flow, I guess. Maiyah, so glad mom has now become a Queen! Does that make you a princess? I have a bit of sad news. Son was driving to Portland and had both dogs with him. Molly had not been doing too well the last couple of months and been in and out of the vet. She went to Rainbow Bridge in the car and he was so upset. He called me crying on the phone. I felt so bad for him since he was alone. He found a vet and had her creamated and remains will be sent. Fly free, Molly. She was a great dog! Anyway, he seems to be doing OK now and starting his first day of the new job! Never a dull moment over there I imagine it was quite a panic at the time. Poor Ernie, bless his heart! Things will settle over time. Boys, snow! We have the AC on over here!
