I think it fine if done how you said. In flyball they are doing Boarder/Whippet cross, The Boarder half for drive and concentration and the whippet half for speed. Its working good.

I think once you got your Whippet use to cats it would be fine with all cats.

Whippets are great dogs, mine is cuddly but not overly so, likes to exercise but is fine if she doesn't and not much shedding. The only thing is you would have to socialize your Whippet a lot from a young age with cats so they would think of them as a friend and not prey.

Lure coursing is a blast, Willow loves it! I see Ridge backs there all the time, hopefully there is a coursing club around you. Good luck.

I would get puppy formula from the vet or pet store and give it to the puppy, if he has teeth soak the kibble in the formula and make it real mushy. if the puppy does not have teeth use a puppy bottle to feed the formula,if the puppy can lap from a bowl a saucer of formula will work.

I just scored a lot of 2011 ground deer meat with suet.
I was told suet was just fat added to the deer meat, is that correct and is this ok for the dogs?
