Saki is going to be 6 this year and has been pretty healthy so far.
Seriously looking into pet insurance for her. Anyone recommend a provider?

Saki will also whimper on occasion. I asked her vet and he said that she might not be getting enough exercise. On his advise I started taking her jogging with me and the nightmares stopped. Recently I got the flu and was out for two weeks!! Saki didn't get much exercise during this time and I noticed it happening again, so It made me think that maybe it is due to lack of exercise.

Shiba puppy's are a handful!!! They must be potty trained properly if not you could be in big trouble! We would take Saki out every two to three hours when little. It's also VERY important to socialize them with people and other dogs, so they don't become dog aggressive when older. Family members????

When Saki was little she used to lick her paws raw!! Drove me crazy! The key is to clean their paws after outside walks.

Stay away from any food made by Diamond. This is the company that is always having problems with dog deaths and recalls!!!
Saki has allergies and is also a very picky eater so i switch between Wellness Core fish formula and Barking at The Moon. Both high on protein and grain free way to go

Awe this makes me so sad!! I love the pic in our Shiba calender of him on the back of his dad's bike! He will be sorely missed, but it's nice to know he is happy and pain free with all the other Shiba's that have crossed over the rainbow bridge!!

hug To Tomo's pawrents. Love and support being sent your way
