Dogs naturally manage what they eat. Gulping shouldn't pose a problem. Besides, there's always a gag reflex to fall back on.

Small raw chicken wings? I raw-feed my pets, that's why I suggested this.

I think this depends on the dog. Some dogs just have adverse reactions to pain.

Dogs can't process vitamin A and other nutrients the way omnivores do.

Hi. I'm glad to see another pet owner who decides to do raw-feeding.

For dogs only: chicken, beef = no defrosting.
Rodent carcasses must be frozen for a month before feeding. The pathogens harm you, not dogs.
For wild game, they need to be frozen for at least 24 hours.

More protein can increase muscle weight and elasticity. Please try raw meaty bones and rabbit carcasses from a reputable local rancher. I raw-feed all my dogs. That's why I'm suggesting this. It works.

Neutering poses health risks to dogs. They can even die of post-surgery complications. frown

Two times a week of twenty-minute walks are fair enough to be considered as healthy exercise for medium-sized dogs.
