Rain ate a bee last summer, she had a horrible allergic reaction cry
I'd be watching for facial sweilling, excessive drooling and the dog not acting it's self, otherwise, should be fine

Food & Nutrition > How much fish oil capsules to give?

Rain

Barked: Sat Feb 23, '13 12:23pm PST
I'm wanting to switch both my dogs to human grade fish oil capsules....how many should they get per day? thinking

Lizzie is about 5-6 pounds, but with the fish oil pumps, I always give her an extra pump and she seems to do well on that.

Rain is around 60 pounds.

I tried looking it up, but couldn't find any information anywhere. Thanks!

Dog Health > My puppy has a puppy tooth that didn't fall out, but the adult tooth has come in

My co worker and I were just talking about this actually. Her aunt has a dog that NONE of it's baby teeth fell out when the adult teeth came in. So we asked the dental tech and she said that it's normal and if it isn't causing issues with the dogs daily life, it'd be fine. But I'd still talk to your vet though, just in case. Is he neutered? They might be able to remove it when that's done

Both of my dogs are currently on it.

Lizzie, my 5 year old Chihuahua has been on it for a while and is doing GREAT on it.

I just switched Rain to it, from Solid Gold Wolfcub and she is also doing amazing on it! She is on Acana Pacifica at the moment. On SG she had tons of eye boogers and now they are completely gone snoopy

Food & Nutrition > Pedigree Dog Food

I agree with the above posters. I would NEVER feed any grocery store foods. Rain, I just switched to Acana Pacifica today (before that she was eating Solid Gold Wolfcub) and my Chihuahua is on a rotation of orijen and Acana (both Champion foods)

To me, foods like Pedigree would be like me eating a whole box of twinkies....or worse..just icky silenced There are a lot better foods that aren't /that/ expensive but are definitely a million times better than pedigree

Lizzie really loves Greenies pill pockets, everytime I bring her to work people give them to her and make her do tricks laugh out loud That's the only treat she'll take from people.

My co workers also give Rain milkbones and a few kibbles of Royal Canin Low fat

I think that's the only time they get "lower quality" stuff shrug
