Hudson's meals consist of... Hudson he's one in a- million!!!!     Barked: Tue Mar 8, '11 5:50pm PST  hudson has a "kidney specific" diet that a nutritionalist actually balanced according to his needs. Part of the diet consists of cooked egg whites. Since being on the diet Hudson's kidney problems have vanished???!!! We were advised to continue Hudson on the diet. Hudson he's one in a- million!!!!     Barked: Thu Oct 28, '10 12:29am PST  these are the approx portions for hudson's meals per day: chicken (boneless skinless) 10.5 oz per day white potatoes with skin 12.5 oz per day egg whites 1 1/4 cups per day local honey 2 tsps per day cheddar cheese 2.5 oz per day butter 2.5 oz per day because hudson was quite thin i started giving him an additional med size potato per day. he also gets additional cheddar chesse & 1/4 of a pear as bedtime snacks. i am still slowly uping his butter intake as well as he does not tolerate cod liver or safflower oils. we were also instructed to add renal dog, hilary's blend & salmon oil to his meals which we do...hope this helps my posts | my page | msg me | my family's posts | gift me | become pals [notify]

Hudson he's one in a- million!!!!     Barked: Thu Oct 14, '10 1:02pm PST  here are hudson's tests results: June 11th: blood test: creatine 44-141 hudson's = 142 BUN 2.1 - 11.1 hudson's = 7.3 urine test: ph is good 6.5 0 crystals in urine specific gravity 1.030 or higher is ok hudson's = 1.024 june 30th: blood test: creatine has gone up to 152 T4 (thyroid) normal range is 13 - 51 hudson's = 9 urine test: specific gravity is 1.022 ph should be 6.5 hudson's = 7.5 October 12th blood test: creatine: high end is 150 hudson's = 107 BUN:high end is 9 hudson's = 5.9 the message on our machine also stated that "hudson is concentrating his urine very well" i couldn't have asked for better results...i'm am thrilled!!!!! my posts | my page | msg me | my family's posts | gift me | become pals [notify]
