Dog Health > sleeping in
Chloe Payton- Alexa
Please love me |
| Barked: Tue Aug 4, '09 4:58pm PST | | | | | Is it normal for an older dog to "sleep in"
The other dogs including one who is just as old (13) all eat at 7:30 but Chloe refuses to come out of her crate and wake up to eat.
At first we thought she was skipping breakfast but then realized that by 10 am she would be awake and ready to eat.
Is there anything we need to look out ofr?

Behavior & Training > aggressive?

| Barked: Tue Aug 4, '09 4:54pm PST | | | | | our 11 yr old mix has always been very people friendly.
I was walking her last week when the neighbors came out to say hi.
The grandma had an umbrella in her hand and leaned forward to pet elsie and elsie growled and pulled forward a bit. She didn't snap or bite but it really really caught me by surprise.
When she put the umbrella down elsie allowed her to pet her albeit hesitantly.
Would this be considered aggressive? Is it something we can address?

Love me PLEASE |
| Barked: Sat Apr 18, '09 8:15pm PST | | | | | Tuck is very smart but he cannot seem to grasp a stay.
He is so food obsessed that when we take a step he scoots along forward all while maintaining his sit!! Which is funny to watch but frustrating.
Any ideas on how to get him to learn a sit? We tried the clicker but he is afraid of it for some odd reason.
