Hopefully, that's all it is because actually for being 12 1/2, I feel pretty good. I don't think I've been drinking more water, but the vet did say one sign of infection is having accidents. Granny is going to talk more to the vet about it on Thursday when she takes Katy back for her infection. Lady My Eyes ~ The- Windows To My- Gentle Soul     Barked: Sat Jan 15, '11 5:12pm PST  Have any of you ever had a high RBC count in your urine? Well, I've been having accidents for a while now so Granny got a sample of my urine and all was well with the results except for the red blood cells count. I'm being treated for a bladder infection so hopefully, I'll be better soon. It's a three-week regime of an antibiotic twice a day. Granny got to thinking after the fact that she thought white blood cells meant infection. What do you pups know? Thanks for any help you can give my Granny. Katy Louise KALO ~ Kisses- and Love Only     Barked: Sat Jan 15, '11 5:05pm PST  I have one too, diagnosed yesterday. Blood came out of one of mine. I was given a shot and now I'm on an antibiotic and steroids. I've been miserable, always licking and kind of chasing my tail. Since going to the vet, I already feel better "down there". I have to go back Thursday to be checked again and then checked every week or so for a while. The vet told Mom if it doesn't get better, he'll have to inject medicine into the gland daily or every other day or teach mom to do it. She said, "No, I'll bring Katy to you." I hope it doesn't come to that. Anyway, more trips to the vet will be needed for me even after it clears up so it doesn't happen again. He thinks my glands may need to be expressed a least once a month. We'll see. My bio-mom, Lady, has too many red blood cells in her urine and is being treated for a bladder infection, so Mom is a bit worried about us right now. I hope you get better really soon, Ruby, and I'm sorry you have cancer.
