i will make sure if I hear they are having problems with him that I let you know. Im so happy they pulled him, hopefully it was just the stress of the kennel/shelter situation that made him act out

I contacted MAGSR and they told me they are definitely pulling him (they are one of the ones I contacted originally). They are one of the only rescues I know of that would work with an aggressive dog...however i also contacted MAS who has contacts with a trainer who could really help this boy if he has serious issues. The problem is trying to get the rescues to communicate with each other...its frustrating. I am going to email my friend at MASGR and see what exactly they are telling her...i also emailed more of my contacts.

I dont think you are a terrible person for kenneling him!! We all know how much you love them!!

He is just to smart for his own good!!

I went through this with Josie a few of years ago. She had an upset stomach much like your boy...after everything went back to normal she would still wake me up and go out just to lay on the deck. I eventually figured out she was playing me and the next night when she woke me up I put her out of the room...this happened for 2 or 3 more nights and then everything went back to normal.

I have 5 dogs at the moment. Star is a therapy dog who also does ob/rally, Maggie and Wiggles do obedience/rally, Milo is a rescue who is being socialized (he was very fear aggressive when i got him), and Josie is retired (she did ob/rally for most of her life but now would rather relax). I find that my dogs love going to individual classes where they are the center of attention and they work better for me so each dog has their night where they come out with me and work.

I walk them all together, and when I have fosters I walk the foster(s) with my pack. I have never had an issue even when bringing in multiple fosters.

I have heard great reviews from people who have dealt with them...i love the dogs they rescue although I am partial to the rescues who concentrate on the dogs already in MD (they bring most of their dogs up from the south).
