	I have a 3 year old norwegian elkhound and she uses the bathroom in the house but only at night, we have tried taking her out before we go to bed and puppy pads but nothing helps, should we try crating, whats the proper way to do that, she is VERY easily scared,

	Maggie, I see no one responded to you and hopefully, your house training situation got better. I have crated all my dogs while potty training simply because my dogs wouldn't mess in their crate. She's new to you and probably nervous. Crate her until you can trust her with not pottying in the house. You might want to teach her to ring a bell when she needs to go out. She may be trying to tell you she needs out and you don't recognize the cue. Good luck!
