Dogs at the beach?

	Hi all! My mom and I recently moved up to Santa Monica from San Diego and were sad to discover that there are NO DOGS ALLOWED on LA County beaches. That's really a downer for me because, despite my terrier nature and my hair stylist's advice, I just LOVE to swim! Do any of you guys know anywhere my mom can take me to get my paws wet?
