 | | | | I just wanted to make a few things clear to those of you that might not know TDI and it's policies.
First, to the person in India - HURRAY for you!! That's awesome.
However, Delta Society members and members of other therapy dog organizations - TDI does NOT allow a dog or person to be a member of TDI and any other organization. The reasoning - because TDI insures your dog, if you're doing therapy work and claim to be under another agency, it can cause confusion should an incident occur.
TDI's website - http://www.tdi-dog.org/
I have nothing against Delta Society or any other organization. However, I do have an issue with people that are 'collectors' of certificates. If you are part of one organization, there is no reason for you to become part of another. You can do therapy work no matter who you or your dog(s) are registered with.
In response to the original question - Cesar and I volunteer at Hospice and at a first stage dimentia/Alzheimer's care center. | | | | |
