We think it really depends on the dog. But we would say between 2-3 years old. I am 4 and my Mom and Dad were just commenting on how I am now in my Prime. I am confident but sweet. I get along with all animals and people. I am not totally trusting at first - I keep my distance, but if you ignore me I cant stand it and my big head will be in your lap before you know it.
