I usually use Roundup (off patent version). Roundup was actually discovered while trying to create a safe chemical that would clear waterways of aggressive weeds. Turns out it killed grass and weeds which made it much more valuable for Monsanto. It breaks down quickly which makes it safe for people and animals. I always give it time to dry before letting Sara out as nothing is entirely safe.

Thanks guys. I'm not sure what we use on the weeds, but we ALWAYS let it dry for like an hour and a half before we let the dogs out. Maybe Roundup is best.
