	Sorry to hear of your loss. I am going through the same thing you are right now. I lost Jaxey on MAY 30th of this year. It was kind of sudden, so I wasn't prepared. You have to take one day at a time and let yourself cry. I have 2 other dogs that distract me most times until something reminds me of her. Have you thought about volunteering at your local shelter? It might help take your mind off of Sammy for a short time.

	Many of us have been there and we feel your pain. It hurts like help. It sounds like you were a God send to Sammy and I bet in his way, he will be there helping you through too. Sending you lots of hugs
