I have recently been seeing a lot of dogs wearing the Back on Track blankets at agility trials. Does anyone use them and what are your opinions on them? I've heard they really help the dog's performance.
Also does anyone use their human knee brace with good results?
I have the dog jacket and I have the knee brace.
knee brace is very comfortable and simply reflects the heat
of your body back on to your knee.
I like using the dog blanket to agility practice and trials
where I want to blanket my dog in between sessions...
I've been seeing a lot of them too. They sure look neat, but I'm not sure how they work. I'm worried they may be no good for heat-sensitive dogs, unless it has more a regulating effect than warming.
I have the knee and ankle brace for myself and love them. I got the mesh blanket for my dog and he has had issues with a sore right shoulder from jumping and it has really helped that.
Ember-They really don't create heat what they do is increase circulation. The mesh blankets aren't too hot unless you are outside. Shadow's never had a problem getting over heated but I don't use it when we are at outside trials unless it is around 60 or so.
