Sarah and I earned her first "Q" in noseworks. We are trialing through C-WAGS and this was their very first noseworks trial! We did not get the first run, but did much better on the second run. We have two more runs tomorrow. We have to get 4 Q's for the title, so no title this weekend. Hopefully in March when they have the next trial.

We got 2nd Q today smile. There were four trials total, and we Q'd on 2. Would have liked to get all four, but I guess it was not meant to be. confused We have been training since May, but I didn't know what I was doing and my trainer did not do a very good job communicating with me what to do. We will try again in March for our tile and then I think I will look somewhere else for training.

Out of curiosity, how is C-WAGS nosework different from K9 Nosework?

Thanks. I'm not sure what the differences are between C-WAGS and NACSW nose work. I'm not very familiar with NACSW. I do know they use different scents. The website for C-WAGS is www.c-wags.org if you want to find out more!

C-WAGS is different from Nosework in several ways.

First, there are more odor options for a judge to chose from for each level.

There are ONLY container searches, no other elements at this time, so it does not take an entire day for a single trial.

There are some other differences. I like the C-WAGS venue in general.
