Do you refresh train ?

	This spring I am seriously thinking about doing a refresh of Sadie's training just cause we were have been stagnet over the winter. not that she needs it. I just think maybe a refresh might be good for her and she might even learn something new for her work that she dose not do yet. Do any of you guys do this if you are like held up during the winter time or after being laid up medically?

	I do it constantly. Isaac and I spend an average of 20 to 30 minutes daily training. That includes practicing skills he already has, particularly those he may not use often, and learning new things. He loves to learn and there always seem to be things that need fine-tuning.

	We are constantly refreshing training. I don't get out much these days, and Iris needs to keep her skills sharp regardless. We do training in the house and outside during walks. Just enough to keep it interesting for her and fun.

	Thank you Iris an Isaac, I do it constantly with sadie and people think I am over training her or that she just is not a good SD. Most don't say it but I can see it in their eyes. But I do it; like you Iris I don't get out as much as I use to and I worry some that she will loose what I already trained her her for and what I have been working with her on and what she dose normally. I inccurage her to do the things she dose naturally for the most part.

	Turning off a light switch? I desided to switch it up and teach Sadie something new. Next to the door is a light switch and She already jumps up on the door to tell me she wants to go out so I thought to teach her to turn off the light that is there if it is on. She is not getting it or she just is being stubburn about it. Any Ideas how to teach her to turn off this light? it is a switch on the wall.

	As I refresh train I have been working on also trying to get her to learn to turn off the door light. It is a switch and since she singnals to go out I figure she can learn to turn off the light.

	After seeing another dog of Sadie's breed in wal-mart I am feeling a lil more comforted and will begin her training going in to Wal-mart now I have not had time to start this training though I have taken her to other places of the same kind of store. I just feel a lil intimidated sometimes. I really have no reason to feel that way just feel that way sometimes.

	I think it will be a perfact task for Sadie she was bred to do this so why not train her to work doing it. I am training her to pull a cart. cool Idea Ha?
