 | | | | I have been feeding my dogs raw for quite a few years. I recently read that the vitamin K in M'orgins is not something I'd want to give to my babies, so I decided to switch. I thought I would also switch to one that is a complete diet. I was adding Honest Kitchen Preference to the M'origin beef. About a year ago I adopted 2 Maltese dogs, Georgie 12, and Annabelle 11. They never were thrilled with the food from the beginning but I thought they would warm up to it. They never did. But when I switched to Nature's Variety Instinct Beef, feeding them was no longer a "job" like it used to be. I would sometimes have to hand feed them. But 3 out of my 4 dogs were displaying allergic behavior. My 16 year-old Bichon started licking his feet like crazy and he developed an ear infection. Georgie also started licking his feet. And Annabelle (she has no teeth and mast cell cancer) developed a rash on her belly that hurt just looking at it. I've switched to Primal Beef after maybe 4 days and didn't notice that much of a difference. I've ordered Aunt Jeni's but haven't tried it yet. Has anyone else's dogs displayed any symptoms after these foods. I thought being raw, they would be just as good but I think I may have to make it myself. Thanks for your input. Diana | | | | |
