 | | | | This is kind of a late response, but I'll go ahead and try to answer your questions. I've got a 2 1/2 year-old female Parson (I still giggle when people use the word bitch for girl dogs) and although she's pretty high-energy, she does sit and cuddle with me sometimes, but a lot of the time she expects me to throw a tennis ball for her. For some reason she always expects me to throw the ball for her during dinner, I guess since I'm sitting at the dinner table I'm an easy target. I'm lucky that I can take her to work with me, and at work she's about the same way, 50/50 play and sleep/cuddle (she usually sleeps behind me in my chair, so I'm sitting on the edge of the seat). I guess that's the nurture part, since I'm with her all day and she doesn't have to be crated or left alone when I'm at work. If I had to crate her or leave her alone at home I can only imagine what kind of destruction she'd wreak. | | | | |
