	Blurg! Marlowe was SOOOOO bad at the show today! He just decided he was NOT going to play the show game, and decided to make up a new game instead. To make myself feel better, I watched the Westminster sporting group again and watched the seasoned Curly special misbehave so badly that the commentators said something. I think that Curlies just know showing is a goofy thing to do, and are trying to convince us stoopid hooomans to give up and go duck hunting instead. Thought about trying again tomorrow, but we're supposed to get sleet/freezing rain/snow tomorrow afternoon. I think we'll just start a fire in the woodstove, curl up under a blanket and watch "Best in Show" again. As I typed that, Marlowe stood up, wagged his tail, and laid his head on my lap, so I'm taking that as a sign. Off to do Biostatistics homework! Boo! Hiss!

Here comes- Trouble!

	Hi everyone! It's 42 degrees here. Beautiful day. My Dad got home today and is poor. Nothing more to do for him at the hospital right now. He wanted to go home. He is very nauseated and can't eat much. He's weak, short of breath and just not well at all. He is happy to be home though. We are keeping him comfortable.... My parents dog Buddy about knocked my Dad over getting into the house to greet him! Buddy cried and cried with his head in Dad's lap. Buddy is 10 years old and I think he knows Dad's sick. Buddy is a Golden Retriever all white in the face now. Very sweet dog that also loves my youngest son. Buddy pushes in between my son and whoever is walking beside him, especially if it is someone new and visiting on the farm.

	Hi all. Huge hugs & positive juju to you & your Dad Roxy. I am having a super day. I will post pics when I get home, but I found an awesome spot to walk dpgs near my client's house. We went to my other one first & played chuckit. It was pouring & I did not want client walking in the rain. But it has stopped raining, so we were able to all walk. Beautiful old growth cedars, a river....dog heaven! Sarah glad you're feeling better! Marlowe...trying to tell mom something?

	"curl up under a blanket and watch "Best in Show" again." Ha. I watched that again when pre-gaming Westminster. Great movie. I love the Weim. "Where's her Bee!" Great day today. Went over the teeter in agility with no major issues. Went to the park and walking in a huge group of dogs without any snippiness or bad behavior and I put a new toy on the flirt pole to rave reviews. THe only irritating note was that I had to put a new toy on the flirt pole. Someone took it yesterday and left it in the sand overnight. It rained, toy soaked and muddy and totally useless for class today. I've got it hanging on the fence to dry out though it sort of looks like a dead skunk from a distance. I imagine they'll get complaints.

	Roxy,so sorry your Dad is not doing well. We have the same thing with my Mom she has been through alot and her health is so poor that she has to be in a nursing home it takes a minimum of 3 people per shift to care for her needs. It's really hard. I'm happy for those of you who had pleasant weather,not the case here,cloudy,cold,bitter cold wind gusts and of course more rain which just makes more mud!!! Took care of all the grocery shopping for the next two weeks.And even got to look at stuff I like,hubby didn't care we were at Lowe's I finally managed to even talk him into letting me buy a new vacuum to clean up the dirt caused by the mud better. YAY!!! It's been a long day so 'night all.

	Well, we are all loaded in the car and are driving down there this morning, my phone rings and it's some cardiac specialist. He says my readings got referred to him and there IS a problem. Some sort of problem that happened while I was sleeping. Sooo, he asked me a whole bunch of questions about how I was, etc, I told him I was headed to the beach with a bunch of dogs and he said that would be fine BUT, IF I have ANY chest pain, etc., to get to a hospital immediately, and to call his office first thing Monday morning! Pretty much messed up my whole day worrying about that!! Then, my back wouldn't let me walk on the sand at all, so we went shopping instead. Back was FINE on pavement and in the stores!! We did get some great photos in the tiny time we were at the ocean so I will post them tomorrow. We JUST got home!!

	Hi Mini! Glad to see you! Roxy to you and your dad. Parents aren't supposed to be sick. Sending good thoughts your way. Toto- that must be so scary! Hope it turns out to be nothing! So happy! One of my coworkers adopted a dog from my rescue that I recommended to her. It was a dog I wanted to foster, but I had a full house. He was adopted once and returned. My coworker originally wanted a border collie, but one that "isn't hyper and won't herd the kids". I gently steered her away from border collies and she now has 4-5 year old, gentle, english setter/pointer mix. He's BEAUTIFUL. I hope it continues to go well. She can be sort of impulsive sometimes... This is the guy she adopted- the one in front- Devon
