This is my second post, and this little boy has my mind wandering. He is not fussy with his food, yet some days he just ignores it and won't eat it. Does you're doxie do this? He's not underweight, he is in great health, yet some days he just ignores his food. Help!

My doxie does the exact same thing. When she doesn't eat, I pick up a handfull of her food and pretend its treats. She all of a sudden goes crazy and I make her do tricks for her own food, after doing this for awhile she will go to her bowl and start eating. I'm not sure if its that she gets bored with her food or what, but as soon as I turn her food into a "treat" she is interested in it again. Maybe this will work for your doxie as well.
