I want to make balanced real cooked food for my dog. The only problem I am having is the only book I can find that does not have grain in every recipe is "Dr. Becker's Real Food for Healthy Dogs and Cats: Simple Homemade Food." Is that really the only book out there? Dr. Becker's recipes are very extreme and complicated with all the supplements, so I wanted to compare it to other books. What other dog food recipe books are there? Thank you.

Look at Steve Brown and Monica Segal's books. Both include cooked and raw recipes.

You can look through a little of Mr. Brown's books online but not Ms. Segal's unfortunately although checking her blog will come up with some recipes so you can see what they look like. The liver recipe she helped Dr. Dodd develop is online though. Ms. Segal's books also give you the method for developing your own recipe as does Sedona's thread on this very forum!
