	I need to know some basics before I can address your problem. What model is your camcorder? What year did you purchase it? What format is it (Mini DV, DVD, flash, ect.)? What model type is your computer? What year model is your computer? Most new computers have firewire outlets, the common uploading means, which many new camcorders require. Hopefully I can be of more assistance when I get a good basis of the information about your equipment. From my basic understanding you want to get the footage off the camcorder and to the computer, if I am incorrect please specify. Feel free to ask any video related inquires, I am happy to be of assistance!

	I am having the same problem...I am uploading a wmf right from my computer but it tells me I need the newest version on media player to install a missing component ...I have downloaded the media player and still get the same messagae
