Two months ago I adopted a dingo mix that had been kept in a crate for most of his first year--not socialized. He was very aggressive and the shelter at first, and he continues to be very anxiety ridden and protective of himself. He fears objects pointed at him (i.e. water bottle) and will snarl. I tried a trainer, but she made it worse with a pinch collar. He's sweet and responsive most of the time, but he has snapped/snarled at me, and trips to the vet are a nightmare. Any suggestions out there? I currently have him on benadryl to calm him, and I only use voice commands.
