	hi,my name is matthew,i`m new to the forum.I`ve read on several sites that the indian dog played a part in early chessie development,could it be the powhatan or nanctcoke tribes dogs descendants or one of the "cur" breeds that were widespread in the 1800`s and were known to have bred with native american dogs.In caroline coile`s book "the dog breed bible" she mentions the indian dog in her chessie description,could anyone have a theory on this please,hope you can help,matt.
