 | |  | | My Bella is a Victorian bulldog. (I'm not saying your dog is.) I just mention this because it is a breed that came about in the 80s in response to the english's health problems. It is a 1/4 english, 3/4 american bulldog mix. She has all the features of an english but is taller which I think helps with the hip displasia and I don't believe she has as many folds to help with the breathing problems (being taller helps too, her face and nose being farther from the ground) Her head is also smaller, a characteristic of the breed.
