 | |  | | I just rescued a border collie and am trying to train him to be on a leash. when he was first put on a leash outside he went crazy and would try to burrow under things, cars, patio, etc.
now i am trying to train him indoors so there is less distraction. he will allow me to put the leash on him but seems to think of it as punishment because he completely freezes and becomes a wallflower. he will not move. no treats will get hime to move, no toys and no positive affirmation.
