6 weeks is awful young to be exhibiting this kind of behavior. If Yuki was older, I would say maybe anal gland issues, but probably not at this age. Have you dewormed him? Sometimes intestinal parasites can cause "scooting" behavior. If you have dewormed, I suggest a fecal exam because the typical puppy dewormer (strongid or similar) only deworms for hookworm and roundworm.

If it is not worms, it could potentially be fleas, although fleas don't normally cause scooting. They can cause severe itching though, and tend to like the area right above the tail. Good luck figuring out what the problem is!

Six weeks is quite young and if she were my puppy, I'd get a second opinion. If she's "butt surfing", which I assume means scooting her behind across the carpet and that sort of thing, she probably has a simple case of worms.

It could also be a number of things, but if you're not sure about the vet's diagnosis, you could take a fresh stool sample to a new vet.

Dogs don't usually do this unless there's an issue. It could also be fleas or a rash of some kind. Definitely follow up with your vet or a new vet. It's important to make sure that a puppy this small/young is truly healthy as, at this age, any small thing is important to treat.

Good luck, I hope she's better soon.

I'm with everyone else check for worms first. My dog did the same thing it wasn't worms just a itchy bottom. The vet advised a cortazone spray. Ask your vet first. good luck with your b-b-b-b-butt problem.
